I’ve got a BX2 system I built about 4 months ago. Dxx2 page 27 of the technical spec, it says: Partition, initialize, ready to rock. No serrial — it just comes up with an error that says none of the drivers apply to any of the hardware. I am looking at intel d975xbx2 serial ata controller from the intel website.

I just want a couple more SATA zta to connect intel d975xbx2 serial ata controller drives to. This would give me a total of 6 SATA devices. I just want a couple more SATA ports to connect my drives intel dxbx2 serial ata controller. Downsides are that you’ll lose the IDE controllers, but at least in my case that’s no contest.

I never saw that, but missed the yellow? It loaded right up.
One thing for sure — Intel didn’t make this easy. Could this be something to do with the exclamation mark in Device Manager?
Is this not possible? Are you sure they are not for external ports.
